Where do I even start, Abbie is a kind gentle extremely talented woman, which I always knew since knowing her name in the wedding industry however when the time came and I was looking for my own bridal MUA I spoke to Abbie and instantly became so excited.
I'd never had my make up done professionally and I truly couldn't wait, I had 3 looks with Abbie, my trial, uk ceremony and Italian wedding.

The whole team at Luxe are true professionals, they communicate clearly and booking is made really straightforward. My trial with Megan was great, she took even the tiniest bit of feedback into account and adjusted right then and there until it was perfect (which took no time at all!), she was super prompt on my wedding day and everything ran exactly according to schedule, which really took the pressure off us with everything else going on.
I was so happy with my makeup, I had so many compliments and it lasted all day and night, without any need for touch ups!

Wow wow wow! Where do I start?! From my bridal trial to the wedding day Megan was so bubbly, friendly and all round lovely!
Megan really knows her stuff and listened to everything I liked and disliked about make up, and each of the bridal team too. I have never had my make up done professionally before as I do not usually wear make up so was worried what it was going to look like but I definitely will not hesitate to have it done again and will continue to use Luxe Beauty going forward.
There were a few upcoming brides at our wedding day who asked who had done mine and the bridesmaids make up as they were so impressed with how well it held and I of course sung your praises.

From the moment I started planning our wedding, there was only ever one person I wanted to do my makeup — Abbie from Luxe Beauty.
I’d followed her work for years, watching her transform bride after bride into the most radiant, glowing, confident versions of themselves. I remember thinking, “Yep, I want to look like that!” So I messaged her very early on just to make sure I could lock her in and honestly? Best. Decision. Ever.
It was actually my first time having my makeup done professionally, but Abbie made me feel completely calm and comfortable from the second I walked into my trial. Somehow, she knew exactly what I wanted, even when I didn’t have the words for it.
On the day, we made a few tiny tweaks to match my tan and go for a slightly smokier look, and when I saw myself in the mirror… I got emotional. I didn’t just look like a bride — I felt like one. I felt amazing in a way I’ll never forget.
On the wedding morning, Abbie was everything you could hope for; calm, kind, lovely to be around, and just the best energy to have in the room. The makeup lasted perfectly through the entire day through all the laughter, hugs, happy tears and all. We all looked flawless in every single photo. I’ve struggled with confidence in my own skin over the years, but on my wedding day, I felt genuinely beautiful and that feeling went far beyond makeup. When it came to booking my wedding makeup I didn’t even think twice than to book Abbie and the team at Luxe.
I (and my bridal party) have all been clients for years and have had our makeup done for all types of occasions with Luxe.
I can honestly say my makeup was one thing I never worried about and knew it would be great as I had Luxe doing it!
I wasn’t wrong and Abbie NAILED the trial - no notes. On the day we made minor tweaks (mainly because I had a tan so felt I could go more bronze) and I honestly got emotional seeing my makeup on the day as seeing my makeup was the first time I felt like a ‘bride’ on my wedding day and it brought all the days emotions to the forefront.

Abbie and Megan are just superstars! They’re more than make up artists. They are confidence boosters, anxiety calmers and your biggest fan on your wedding morning!
They had 9 women to do make up for, on the morning of my wedding, and they smashed every single one! Every one of us were so pleased and had so many lovely comments.
They stayed until I was in my dress to check everything was ok, final touch ups were done and I was good to go.
Megan came in to get a couple of pictures, once I was fully ready and whilst photographers were taking pictures and it just felt like she was a bridesmaid doing the first look. She provided a bit of extra hype I needed before I did first looks with bridesmaids and my dad.
Before I even had booked our wedding date I was checking with Abbie that she was available as I was desperate to have her.
I had my bridal make up trial for my hen do and Abbie took so much time to listen to what I liked/ didn’t like and then created the most flawless make up.

After adding an additional guest for make up not long before the wedding date Abbie did it without hesitation and made the whole process easy.
During my make up trial Megan asked lots of questions and offered lots of different styles so l could see what worked best on me, and for my big day. On my wedding day itself Megan and the Luxe team made myself and 6 others look amazing.

Having been coming to Luxe for many, many years there was no one else I would trust on the most important day, I made sure Abbie was free and happy to travel to Spain before I confirmed our venue date!
Firstly, the trial - Abbie did an amazing job. She made me feel truly "bridal", and different to all the other times I'd had my make-up done, but still like myself.
On the morning of the wedding, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to have Abbie there with us. She brought great vibes, had amazing advice generally about any wedding nerves.

Communication was amazing throughout. I booked a make up trial for myself and my maid of honour and we both loved it! Megan was so friendly and asked us how we’d like it and changed or added anything we said.
On the day, the make up artists did 6 bridesmaids, myself and my mum. It was so relaxed and both girls were so so lovely!! They did each person’s make up how they wanted it and made sure everyone was 100% happy with the look.

I adored my makeup on my wedding day it was exactly what I wanted - and everyone else loved theirs too! I felt so comfortable the whole time as did the others, many of which don’t regularly get their makeup done but everyone just looked stunning.

Every bridesmaid was over the moon with their makeup even though none of them had been for a trial.

All of the makeup was flawless; my bridesmaids, mum and I were delighted.
Abbie was professional, but she was also like another friend getting ready with us, which helped us all (me especially) to stay clam and relaxed.

My sister, mum and I had a trial with Abbie and Georgie prior to the wedding and I instantly knew I had made a great decision in booking them.
They were so friendly, they put us instantly at ease and they listened to exactly what we wanted.
On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and were so professional and friendly throughout. It was a lovely, relaxed morning and it was such a pleasure to have Abbie and Georgie there with us.
They created flawless makeup looks for myself, my bridesmaids and my mum, again asking us what we liked/didn’t like about make up in general so they could create a perfect look for us and they ensured we were 100% happy with the makeup.
The makeup they used was high quality, it stayed in place all day and night and even looked good still the following day!!
Abbie made me feel so beautiful and confident which is what every bride wants on her big day and we all had so many compliments on our makeup.

Wow where do I start…
I was recommended Abbie by a friend and from the moment we spoke I felt at ease so I knew instantly I wanted her to do my bridal make up, she talked me through what to expect on the day and how everything would work, I explained how I usually have my make up and Abbie listened to every minor detail.
Unfortunately my wedding was postponed due to COVID but Abbie was able to accommodate our new date and she was always checking in on me throughout the year to check everything was ok, she really did go above and beyond!
When I went for my trial we spoke in more detail about my likes and dislikes and during the trial Abbie told me about the products she was using and explained everything to me, I walked away from my trial so happy and so excited for my Wedding day, my make up looked perfect and there was nothing I wanted to change!
Onto the big day… Abbie & Georgie arrived at the venue and they both worked so well together to do everyone’s make up, to my mum, my step mum, my mother in law, my bridesmaids and myself every single one of us looked absolutely beautiful!
I could see how happy everyone was with their make up and that made me happy too, the girls catered to everyone’s individual needs and made sure that everyone felt comfortable on the day.
Unfortunately my Honeymoon got cancelled on the Wedding morning so it was no longer about just being a make up artist it was about being an emotional support for me too. Everyone could see how gutted I was and Abbie and Georgie really did help me overcome these emotions on the day with their encouraging and supporting words, they managed to keep me calm so I was able to sort my Honeymoon out for the third time during my make up.
Abbie was so calm and relaxed whilst doing my make up so this allowed me to also relax and enjoy the moment- thank you so much for being more than just make up artists.
Everyone said how well their make up lasted on the day, and I can speak for myself mine did not budge at all. I danced the night away and got a bit sweaty, I cried several tears and I still looked flawless by the end of the night. I had so many compliments and I really did look amazing, thank you so much to Abbie for making me look like a princess on the day and to both of you for making my bride tribe look absolutely beautiful too.
I cannot recommend you enough, you are so much more than just make up artists and are absolutely amazing at what you do! ❤️

I had the pleasure of Abbie doing my make up for my special day.
As someone who wears minimal makeup I decided to have a trial. Abbie listened to all my likes & dislikes, she talked through products, colours & gave her professional advice while keeping my wishes in mind. We played around with lipstick colours & even after my trial I still changed my mind!
On the day, Abbie was fab. She created looks on my bridal party to suit each individual skin type but tying them all in together. Together we adapted my trial to give me ‘my perfect look’ that I felt confident & comfortable in.
It lasted all day & through many photos in the direct sunlight, bad dancing & the tears!
As a bride, I felt the best me & I think that was the most important bit, to feel the best version of me & I absolutely did!

I could not fault Abbie from the moment I messaged her to tell her my date of my wedding and having my fingers crossed that she was available, right until I walked down the aisle 13 months later!
As soon as I was engaged I knew I wanted Abbie and her team to do my makeup after using Luxe for many years since it began.
Luxe was AMAZING at making me feel at ease and special during my makeup trial with my chief bridesmaid. Discussing the day, getting excited and having your makeup done whilst having a bottle of prosecco. What could be better?

Told about Luxe by a friend and everyone I spoke to said good things about them. It was very easy to book date for makeup on wedding day.
They where brilliant, had no problems rearranging wedding date and trial because of covid.
At trial everyone working there was lovely and so welcoming. Abbie looked over photos, listened to how we wanted our makeup to look and adapted them to suit us. Throughout asking us if we where happy and wanted to change anything. Trial was worth every penny, we all looked so beautiful.
On the wedding day the makeup looked amazing and made me feel so beautiful.

Wow! Well what can I really say?
From a female who had never had her make up professionally done ever not knowing what was actually going to happen, Abbie made me feel so calm and turned me into a queen!
My make up lasted all day and didn't look any different by the time I'd gone to bed.
Abbie arrived early and made all 4 of us comfortable. She worked really well along side my hairdresser and everyone was very happy with the result of their make up.

Abbie was absolutely amazing on my wedding day and I couldn’t recommend her more.
I was feeling anxious about make up for my wedding day as I’m not a girl who has ever been particularly into make up and I had never had it done professionally before.
Abbie was so so wonderful, she is just such a lovely and approachable person and really put me at ease and listened to what I wanted. I had a trial at Her premises in Whittlesey which are lovely and immaculate and on the day she came to the house and set up. She was a lovely and calm person to have there on the morning. She did my make up and one of my bridesmaids and even helped my mum with a fake eyelash emergency even though my mum wasn’t booked in with her.
My make up was done so beautifully and lasted the whole day including lots of dancing! I felt completely glowing and still like me. I was so happy with how it turned out and it gave me so much more confidence. I would really encourage anyone to book Abbie, especially if you are someone who is a bit apprehensive about having their make up done as she was just so wonderful and did an amazing job!
